Mini sessions are everywhere these days. Cute little advertisements with appetizing prices. So what is the difference really besides the price point? Why would you need to consider a full session? Are mini sessions worth it? These are all questions you may be asking yourself.

So here is what you need to know about a mini session. They are generally available for limited dates and times at one location. The photographer sets up the set for multiple photo shoots scheduled in one day. Therefore these are limited to a short amount of time like 10-20 mins with a limited amount of photos offered, usually 3-5. These are preplanned and not customized with limited poses. Since everything is set up once and takes less time these sessions are cheaper than a full session.

So now why would I book a full session? There are so many reasons a full session could be better for you. If you want a different set, location, additional pictures, additional outfits, more people, or just more time. Full sessions can be customizable based on your needs. Now that you know the difference you can decide which is best for you and your needs.
